I devise and facilitate accessible workshops on various elements of theatre making for children, young people and adults. At the core of my practice is creating inclusive and nourishing spaces for the sharing and exploring of ideas through collaboration, imagination and play.

My specialisms are:

  • Co-creation

  • Devising

  • Character creation

  • Character Development

  • Script-writing

Brigitte is one of the most skilled facilitators and directors I have ever worked with. She is able to inspire and support large groups of participants while switching seamlessly between the roles of dramaturg, writer, sound designer, director, the list goes on! Each participants individual needs were met while she simultaneously creates a deep sense of camaraderie and ensemble, even in a short amount of time. Brigitte’s practice is informed by her compassionate nature and well of experience, you can trust her to create something magical and brilliant.

some companies I’ve worked with :

She ran a really good session which left me very inspired with loads of ideas for directing. It was so interesting to question the script, especially as we worked out answers together. Talking about how we would implement our ideas as a director was also interesting and helped me understand directing more.

Natalie and Brigitte are two, true professionals.  Their wit, artistic integrity and their knack for saying exactly what needs to be said via theatre, seeps into their relaxed workshops. Their engaging style offers freedom to explore with helpful guidance that doesn’t stifle your creativity.”The quality of the writing, devising and directing skills they transferred in such a short space of time is testament to them both - it just works! Come back?!

The session that I enjoyed and inspired me the most was the Directing through Devising workshop with Brigitte. I found that it was interesting as it introduced me to new ways of thinking when exploring a script. I found the session fun and easy to follow. It also helped us to work on characterisation and producing a character. Also, we were able at the end of the session to ask questions about directing as a career which was really insightful and inspiring
